Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Consultations and Appointments
1. How can I schedule an appointment at Imperial Dent?
Appointments can be made by phone at +373 22 260 325 or +373 69 366 660 (Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram), online via Facebook Messenger, or by email at contact@imperialdent.md. The clinic team will suggest the nearest available date depending on the urgency and type of treatment.
2. What does a dental consultation include?
A dental consultation includes a complete evaluation of the oral cavity, analysis of the teeth and gums, imaging investigations (intraoral scanning, X-ray, or tomography if necessary), and the recommendation of a personalized treatment plan.
3. How often is a dental check-up recommended?
It is recommended to visit the dentist once every 6 months, even in the absence of pain, to prevent dental issues. During preventive visits, early-stage cavities, inflammations, or infections are detected, and professional cleaning and scaling are performed to remove plaque and tartar.
Dental Check-up
4. What is a dental check-up and why is it important?
A dental check-up is a comprehensive evaluation of oral health that allows early detection of cavities, infections, or gum problems and helps prevent complex treatments. It includes consultation and necessary investigations to determine the condition and a potential treatment plan.
5. What is the difference between a standard and a digital check-up?
A digital check-up includes additional investigations such as intraoral scanning and photo protocol, providing a more detailed analysis and a more precise treatment plan. There are also remote consultations, where patients send their investigations and an action plan is outlined (popular within the concept of dental tourism, in which our clinic is active).
Technology and Treatments
6. What modern technologies are used in the clinic?
Imperial Dent uses advanced technologies such as intraoral scanners, 3D dental tomography, endodontic microscopes, LiteTouch dental laser, professional teeth whitening lamps, etc. We have a system for providing first medical aid, including resuscitation if necessary. We use next-generation materials from trusted companies (such as dental implants and crowns).
7. Are the treatments painful?
Most treatments are minimally invasive and performed using modern technologies that reduce discomfort. In many cases, the pain is minimal or nonexistent. Anesthesia is applied in a personalized manner to minimize discomfort.
8. What is laser treatment and when is it recommended?
Dental laser is used for fast and precise treatments, with accelerated healing and reduced discomfort, and is recommended for caries treatment, gum procedures, endodontic and surgical treatments.
Implants and Dental Work
9. How long does a dental implant treatment take?
The duration depends on the complexity of the case, but generally the process includes implant insertion and the integration period, followed by the placement of the dental crown. This question is answered individually during consultation based on investigations and patient-specific conditions. Typically, the treatment lasts between 2 and 6 months (including the period of osseointegration and gum regeneration).
10. Are dental implants safe?
Yes, dental implants are a safe and long-lasting solution, especially when performed using biocompatible materials and digital planning.
11. What types of prosthetic work are available?
The clinic offers dental crowns, bridges, removable dentures, and modern solutions such as All-on-4 and All-on-6.
Dental Aesthetics and Orthodontics
12. What does professional teeth whitening involve?
Teeth whitening is a fast and safe treatment performed using special technologies that provide visible results in a short time. We use a modern Flash whitening lamp that allows fast and highly effective treatments.
13. What options are available for teeth straightening?
Orthodontic treatment includes classic braces (brackets) or modern solutions with aligners, adapted to each patient’s needs.
Pediatric Dentistry
14. At what age should children visit the dentist?
The first visit is recommended as soon as the first teeth appear, for prevention and adaptation.

Other Questions
20. Can I receive treatment in a short time if I come from abroad?
Yes, treatments can be efficiently planned so that the patient benefits from optimal results in a short time. Since the clinic operates according to high standards, the quality of dental tourism procedures is at an optimal level, while prices are more affordable than in many foreign countries.
21. What is the cost of a procedure?
Each case is individual, and combinations of investigations and treatment options are multiple. A predefined price list exists, but only during consultation can you find out exactly what suits you. For example, an implant can be complemented with a dental crown, or the same implant can be part of the support for an All-on-4 or All-on-6 prosthesis. The final price is established during the consultation, where we explain everything related to the financial aspect, which is quite flexible.
